What is Fit Night Out?

It’s an evening of workouts and wellness brought to you by Women’s Health. We have an exciting programme of classes and speaker sessions on the schedule. Tickets have sold out so if you weren’t one of the lucky ones, please visit our Women’s Health UK Facebook page to catch the speaker sessions on the night at the allotted times. When is Fit Night Out?

Thursday 5th October 2017

Where is it?

B1 Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square, Bloomsbury, London WC1A 2PJ. Please enter from the Southampton Row entrance.

What time is it?

The event runs from 5:30-9:30pm. You will have bought a ticket for a specific workout session lasting for 1 hour and whilst you won’t be able to access any other classes without purchasing an additional ticket, you will have access to the event for the duration to listen to speaker sessions.

What workouts will be taking place and at what time?

You will have already booked your ticket for your workout sessions. The full line-up can be accessed here.

Will there be water available?

You will all be given a bottle of water upon arrival although please do bring your own, filled water bottles with you.

What will there be to eat?

The Detox Kitchen will be retailing food at the event. Please remember to bring cash as food is not included within your ticket price.

What other activities will be at the event?

The braid bar will be in attendance and will be providing braids free-of-charge to attendees. Please bear in mind that there will be a high demand for these so prepare to queue! Pip & Nut will be also there giving out smoothies made with their tasty new nut milks. 

What does my ticket include?

  • 2 classes from your chosen workout sessions (no need to switch rooms, both classes will take place in the same room)
  • Speaker sessions
  • Access to the weights technique room
  • A goody bag
  • Live DJ – AJ Odudu and Jessica Skye will be DJ’ing at the event.

Do I need to book speaker sessions?

No these are first-come, first-served so arrive at the sessions early to get the best seat! Seating is limited so latecomers may need to stand.

How can I view the speaker sessions if I miss them?

They will all be streamed live on the Women’s Health UK Facebook page so will be available to view after the event.

What is the technique room?

The technique room is a fully-equipped weights room run by Nike trainer Joslyn Thompson-Rule. Joslyn and her team will be on hand to demo moves and you will be encouraged to take part to perfect your form on the multiple number of workout stations. There is no need to book the technique room, it is operating on a drop-in basis.

How do I gain entry on the day?

Please bring your printed Eventbrite ticket with you and you will be given a coloured wristband upon entry.  The wristband will allow you entry into the workout session that you have booked. Please note that all workout rooms will be cleared before the next session starts.

Can I attend any other classes on the day?

Unfortunately, the event is sold out so you will be unable to attend any other classes on the day, only the sessions you have pre-booked.

What time should I arrive?

We advise that you arrive at the event no more than 15mins ahead of the first class and be outside your specified room 5 mins prior to the class starting.

Will there be changing facilities available?

Please come already dressed for a workout! There are very limited changing facilities available.

Will there be a cloakroom?

There will be a cloakroom facility available free-of-charge. All valuables are left in the cloakroom at your own risk and we accept no responsibility for any lost items. Please remember to keep hold of your water and purse.

Will there be showers?

There are no showers are the venue.

What if I change my mind?

We are offering a full refund on tickets until 15th September. After this point, no refunds will be processed.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring yourself already dressed for a workout, your ticket, a bottle of water, your phone for lots of social posts and don’t forget your purse. No need to bring any fitness equipment, it will all be provided.

Goody bags

Items in goody bags will vary from person to person. Anyone that has purchased a ticket and is unable to attend will not be sent a goody bag.

Can I bring my children to the event?

Unfortunately, the event is limited to over 18’s only.
